Performance statistics and scoring: batting and bowling averages, free-throw percentage, run rates and game scoring. Definitions follow the conventions of each sport, but leagues differ at the edges (what counts as an innings, how a no-ball is scored), so check the competition's own rulebook before comparing figures across sources.

About

Pace and split tools keep distance × pace = time invertible across modes. Predictors that extrapolate another race distance live on sibling pages and state the fatigue model they use — or that they do not model fatigue at all.

Connect distance, time and pace

Use running pace for a distance-time relationship, cycling speed for average travel speed, and swimming pace for pool-distance scenarios. Race predictors add a model; they do not simply report a measured result.

Use the right scoring denominator

A batting average, free-throw percentage or darts checkout measure can look similar while counting different events. Enter totals from the same reporting period and read the definition of attempts or scoring opportunities on the chosen page.

Keep prediction and training decisions separate

A projected finish time or estimated activity quantity does not account for every condition, fatigue or individual health factor. Treat target scenarios as arithmetic comparisons and review actual performance and appropriate advice before changing a training plan.
