Pet Care Calculators

24 calculators

Feeding amounts, habitat sizing and life-stage estimates for cats, dogs, fish and small animals: tank volume, cage dimensions, portion sizes, litter and gestation timelines. Starting points come from common husbandry guidance; breed, activity level and body condition shift them. Anything that looks like illness is a vet question, not a calculator question.

About

Pet calculators use different inputs for different animals and tasks. An age comparison is an illustrative model, a feeding estimate uses assumptions about the animal and food, and a tank calculation begins with dimensions. Choose the relevant species and read the tool’s basis before using a result.

Organize food and cost estimates

Separate a calorie estimate from a food-weight calculation: the food’s energy density is needed to connect them. Cost tools answer a budgeting question instead of a feeding question, and treat amounts and frequencies as scenario inputs.

Compare age models and habitat dimensions

Age tools apply different species assumptions. Aquarium volume is a geometric quantity, whereas stocking and habitat tools add biological or husbandry assumptions. Equal water volume does not make every enclosure or species arrangement equivalent.

Do not delay veterinary help for a calculation

These estimates cannot assess an individual animal’s health or an urgent exposure. For suspected poisoning or an unwell animal, contact a veterinarian or an appropriate animal poison service; a calculator cannot establish that an exposure is safe.
