How is annual litter use estimated?
Annual use is the amount entered per full box change × boxes × 365 ÷ days between changes. At two boxes, 20 lb per box and a 14-day interval, that is about 1,043 lb per year. The formula no longer adds an extra factor for top-ups; include your typical additions in the per-box amount if you want them counted. A common guideline is one box per cat plus one extra.
