Party Planning Calculators

35 calculators

Planning quantities for events: guest counts, food and drink per head, balloon and decoration counts, seating and timing. Per-person estimates assume a mixed adult group over a couple of hours; children, long events and heavy drinkers each shift the numbers in predictable directions.

About

A guest count is a starting point, not a complete event plan. Food portions, seating, decorations and costs depend on different assumptions about the people, venue and duration. Choose a practical planning tool by the item you need to estimate; symbolic games in this category have a separate entertainment purpose.

Connect guests with food and drink quantities

Portion and drink tools multiply serving assumptions by a guest scenario. A buffet, pizza meal and mixed-age event may need different inputs; check whether a tool counts all guests or a selected group.

Plan the venue and budget

Use table counts and seating arrangements for layout, a tent-size scenario for covered area, and a budget tool for spending categories. Capacity estimates do not include every access, weather or site restriction.

Confirm real event constraints

Check vendor quantities, venue capacity, accessibility and local requirements before placing orders. Serving estimates cannot account for every dietary need, and an entertainment compatibility or zodiac score is not a factual assessment of guests.
