Running costs and performance for a car: depreciation, lease and insurance estimates, fuel spend, brake and tyre wear, and acceleration figures. Quoted performance assumes a stock vehicle in good condition on a level surface; real numbers move with load, tyres, temperature and altitude. Cost estimates are regional averages, not a quote.

About

Vehicle ownership questions combine several different models. Fuel consumption is a measured rate, a payment depends on financing terms, and a tire or drivetrain calculation describes dimensions or ratios. Select the calculation that matches your question rather than comparing outputs with different meanings.

Compare running and purchase costs

Use fuel cost for a distance-and-price scenario, charging cost for electricity inputs, and the loan or lease tools for financing assumptions. Depreciation is a separate estimate and does not determine a vehicle’s sale price.

Inspect dimensions and mechanical relationships

Tire size and wheel offset describe geometry, while engine RPM and gear ratio connect rotational quantities. An estimate of acceleration or horsepower depends on a different model and should not be read as a measured test result.

Use actual ratings for vehicle decisions

Check the vehicle and component manufacturer’s specifications for fitment, maintenance and capacity. A simplified calculation cannot certify safe towing, braking, tire clearance or a mechanical modification.
