Weather Calculators

Meteorological formulas: dew point, heat index, humidity relationships, barometric pressure conversion and growing-season length. These are relationships between measured quantities, not forecasts — they tell you how conditions will feel or behave given readings you already have, and they assume those readings were taken properly.
- Barometric Pressure Converter Convert barometric pressure between hectopascals, millibars, inches of mercury and more.
- Dew Point Calculator Calculate dew point and absolute humidity from temperature and relative humidity.
- Growing Season Calculator Work out the length of your growing season from the last spring frost to the first autumn frost.
- Heat Index Calculator Calculate the heat index from temperature and humidity and see the danger category.
- Humidity Calculator Find relative humidity, absolute humidity and vapour pressure from temperature and dew point.
- Rain to Snow Converter Convert rainfall amounts into the snow depth they would produce at a given temperature.
- Rainfall Calculator — Volume and Collection Convert rainfall depth over an area into total water volume in gallons, litres and cubic metres.
- Snow Day Closure Score Calculator Explore a heuristic score from snowfall and local conditions. This is not a calibrated closure probability or forecast; check official district updates.
- Snowfall Accumulation Calculator Project total snow depth from the snowfall rate, duration and settling.
- UV Index Calculator Illustrative UV estimate from latitude, date, altitude and cloud cover; it is not a local observation or forecast.
- UV Exposure Estimate Calculator Estimate erythemally weighted ambient UV exposure from a UV Index and duration; not a personal skin dose or safe-time limit.
- Weather Conditions Score Calculator Compare weather inputs with a simple, unvalidated score. It is not an official forecast, warning, safety rating or travel recommendation.
- US Wind Chill Calculator Estimate wind chill with the US formula using air temperature and wind speed in mph.
- Canadian Wind Chill Calculator Estimate wind chill with the Environment and Climate Change Canada formula using temperature in °C and wind speed in km/h.

Weather calculators transform measurements you provide; they are not live forecasts unless a page explicitly supplies forecast data. Rainfall volume, relative humidity and apparent-temperature indices describe different quantities. Check the observation units, time period and the conditions assumed by the selected model.
Relate temperature, moisture and wind
Use dew point or humidity for moisture relationships, and heat-index or wind-chill tools for their specific combinations of weather inputs. Different indices have different valid conditions and do not represent every exposure or local effect.
Turn precipitation into a quantity scenario
Rainfall across an area can be expressed as volume, while snow accumulation and rain-to-snow tools require additional assumptions. A probability-style scenario is not the same as a forecast from current meteorological observations.
Use forecasts and alerts for real conditions
Compare the entered values with current observations and official local forecasts. Simplified indices and illustrative probabilities cannot establish whether conditions are safe for a person, route, structure or activity.
