About this calculator
Build a scenario using attributed revenue, campaign spend, time cost and an optional assumed value for new followers. ROI includes that follower-value assumption; ROAS uses attributed revenue divided by ad spend. Neither shows that followers will later convert, and attribution and costs may be incomplete.
Worked example
calculated with the default values below
Campaign and content spend 5,000 $ · Revenue attributed to social 12,000 $ · Hours spent 40 hours · Value of your time per hour 30 $ · Followers gained 1,500 · Estimated value per follower 2 $ Total cost 6,200.00 $ · Total return including follower value 15,000.00 $ · Return on investment 141.9 % · Return on ad spend 2.40 x · Cost per follower 4.133 $ · Net profit 8,800.00 $

Frequently asked questions
Does follower value represent actual revenue?
No. Value per follower is an assumption you choose for a scenario. ROI includes that assumed amount; ROAS uses attributed revenue divided by ad spend. Neither metric proves that followers will convert into future revenue.
