D_R = birth date plus retirementAge whole years. The loop steps day by day, excluding Saturday and Sunday, and stops at D_R; months = round(Y×12).
Frequently asked questions
How are working days to retirement estimated?
The tool counts weekdays from today up to the birthday at the entered retirement age, then subtracts holidays per year multiplied by remaining years. It does not know actual holiday dates, work schedules or planned leave, so working days are an estimate. For a 1980 birth and age 65, the retirement date is in 2045.
